Whole and Nonfat Milk

The whole and nonfat milk used in a2 Platinum® Premium Infant Formula is our a2 Milk® from cows that have been specially selected to naturally produce milk with only the A2 beta-casein type. The whole and nonfat milk is a key ingredient in our product and a source of carbohydrate, protein and fat essential sources of energy. 

Lactose

Lactose is the carbohydrate (sugar) naturally found in milk. Lactose is important as it provides a source of energy to meet the needs of growing babies. Lactose also aids the absorption of calcium.

Iron Source

Iron is an essential mineral that is involved in the transport of oxygen through your blood to tissues and organs. Iron is also important for brain development in babies and young children.

DHA & Choline

DHA is a type of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid, and choline is an essential nutrient in the body. Both DHA and Choline play a role in supporting brain and eye development in infants.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that acts as an antioxidant in the body to help protect cells against damage. Vitamin E also plays a key role in supporting immune function. 

Prebiotics

Prebiotics are non-digestible food ingredients that provide health benefits by stimulating the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut. Galacto-oligosaccarides (GOS), are a type of prebiotic, that comes from the lactose in cow’s milk.
